In a rescheduled match from the 12th round of Group A of the Champions League, FC Porto hosted and defeated Croatian side PPD Zagreb 28-26.
In a consistently balanced game, the blue and whites, who occupy last place, managed to secure their second victory in the competition, largely thanks to their defensive performance and offensive efficiency.
Almost always trailing in the first half, a 4-0 run took the score from 8-11 to 12-11 at halftime.
In the second half, FC Porto were almost always ahead and added two more points to their European campaign (which concludes on Thursday with a home game against Polish side Wisla Plock).
