Jannik Sinner wins in Miami and breaks the record for most consecutive sets won in Masters 1000 tournaments
With his victory over Alex Michelsen in Miami, Jannik Sinner, world number 2, broke the record for most consecutive sets won in Masters 1000 tournaments.
After the victory, the Italian tennis player reached 28 consecutive sets without losing in Masters 1000 tournaments. Novak Djokovic held this record for 10 years, when he achieved 24 consecutive sets unbeaten in tournaments of the same level.
To achieve this feat, Sinner won the Paris Masters in 2025 and the most recent Indian Wells Masters, without dropping a single set throughout the tournament.
