Águas Santas, who had already beaten FC Gaia (30-26) in the opening round of Gaia Handball Week, a preparation tournament, suffered a defeat this Sunday against the Danish team KIF Kolding, one of the teams invited to this pre-season tournament that brings together the champions FC Porto, the Romanian team Dinamo Bucharest and the Spanish teams Cangas, Ademar Leon and Puente Genil, in addition to the South Korean National Team.
The team from Maia, fifth-placed in the Placard Handball 1 Championship last season, were in training camp in Celourico da Beira, where they played against Vitória de Guimarães and, this Sunday, could not avoid a 30-25 defeat against the Nordic team at the Lavandeira Municipal Pavilion.
