Already qualified for the quarter-finals, along with Chelsea, Benfica will find out its opponent on March 17th in Nyon, Switzerland, at 1 PM in mainland Portugal.
The draw will be open, without any restrictions regarding seeded teams or teams from the same countries. That is, Benfica could face FC Porto if the Dragons eliminate Inter Milan (the second leg is scheduled for March 14th at the Dragão stadium, after Inter’s victory in the first leg in Italy).
On the same day, Friday the 17th, the semi-final matches will also be drawn, as well as the team that will play the final (scheduled for June 10th at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey) as the home team, for administrative reasons.
